easy  if  your  not  using  sf  weather  engine  no need  to start  sf  just  start  ef  first  than  your  sim.   personally   I wouldn't  use asca,   some  users  seem  to use  asca  but  I  find  sf  and  ef   will just be  fine.  No need  to uninstall asca   just  rename  the  asca  exe   to  some thing  else   so it  wont  start

I just want to know if the Setting i make in SF3D will be used from EF, when SF3D is closed.

Roll Clouds +Calvus Rain Shaft+Overcast Density !?
At the moment I have only switched off the weather engine in SF3D and use ASP4

Thanks Frank

Is it better the "Overcast Density" slider set to" less" with EF?

It is better only for performance reasons. It depends on your hardware capabilities. Complex thunderstorm and overcast scenarios can be demanding in terms of hardware performance, so you need to find your personal "golden mean" here.

For the cloud models to sync from SF3D, you need to leave SF open.

Now I do not know myself anymore.
Everyone says if you use NF + SF3D
SF3D can remain closed.

I fly in Automatic Mode.

Sigh*.

Going on 6 hours sleep in past 48 hours, sorry for confusion, please forgive me!! :(

You CAN have SF closed and it WILL sync the correct cloud models. OK.... off to bed now, past 2am.
