Hey.

I installed P3D.v4.5 hotfix and then I see only sun reflections in my REX Sky Force (v.5.0.2019.0410) installations. All others are gray or empty.

There have been issues with the SF weather supplier and there is also an update due soon , hang in there I think , meanwhile , great sun shots

We are waiting for TU 2.2 then after that creative update 1 (which is the big one with weatherforce)

Is this correct?

Right now I can't even get 2.1 to work.  the textures crash P3D v4.  I'm awaiting support in the other support forum.

Is there any way to roll back my version of Skyforce? Cloud structures are completely broken now and it totally defeats the point of even having the program.

This update also applies to a problem in Australia? When it does not start realistic weather correctly. If so good.

Thank you for posting your issue.  However, I ask that you post your issue within the Sky Force support forum.  As we use this to discuss upcoming features in the blog.

As to your answer we are reviewing the issue.  However, this is a server data issue, not an application issue.

Whether it is a separate hotfix or whether it is directly mounted on REX SkyForce.

Just a quick update.  We had to delay the release of the patch and the full build for final install tests.  Once they are complete we will release the patch through automatic/manual updates as well as through our forum.  The full builds will be delivered to all vendors by Tuesday, July 2nd.

PRODUCT:  REX SKY FORCE STATUS
BUILD:  TECHNICAL UPDATE 2.3
STATUS: DEPLOYMENT PHASE - ON PAUSE
DATE:    6/28/2019

Developer Notes:

During our testing prior to staging for deployment we noticed two issues.

There seems to be an data issue for weather over Australia.  Data is received from the servers, but it is not injecting in that region and we noticed that data we get directly from NOAA for Australia is 24 hours old.

We need to investigate this issue before we release this build.  Deployment Phase is currently on pause.

Thank You Team! Much appreciated!

That issue has been with us since the product was released (when I bought it) and has made any meaningful participation for southern customers in any beta testing impossible. To me, there seems to be multiple issues with the standard combination of; Degrees C for Temperature, hP for pressure, and Feet for altitude being injected, after start-up and on updates with incorrect conversions in flight.

Regarding the weather data time in SF (and EF), I'm finding it is showing the correct time here? Don't forget, the most of AUS (and NZ) is 24 Hours (1 Day) ahead of New York ( at +10 UTC). eg. It is 0800 Hrs here in Canberra on the 29th (Saturday morning) or 2200 hours (Friday night) and I have just gone to NOAA and punched in YSCB. The result is YSCB 282143Z AUTO 36003KT 0500 FG BKN001 BKN043 00/M00 Q1026 FM2300 34012KT 9999 SCT040 FM0000 MOD TURB BLW 5000FT

It is the weather I am seeing outside the window, Zero degrees C, and a little foggy.

Just thinking, could it be an issue with a client's Sky Force requesting either FS time, or the Client's PC's Win 10 time? Or could it be your Server not being able to report weather from a zone >24 hours ahead of it's machine time?

Anyhow, thanks for taking time on these issues.

Aussie

Is 8th July when it is going to be released? I haven't been able to fly because SF is completely broken in weather updates and sync features...
