ANSWERED "rex_road_highway_textures.exe",

Over in the ORBX forums, mention was made of the above program. I wonder if this is a legit and safe program supposedly it improves road and highway textures. Any thoughts or suggestions? For the moment, I remain suspicious. Thanks

Hi Sherm,

Yes I am the author, however I did not create the installer... I didn't even know about this. So to be honest, I don't know how safe or compatible it is with ORBX. Those were created a long time ago.

that is interesting. I downloaded the file and it passed an inspection my malwarebytes. Since there seems to be an installer, and according to the docs, an uninstaller, I will give it a try. If it does not work well, I will assume that the REX Texture Direct Program will remedy. I may be playing a bit of Russian Roulette with FSX, but this would not be the first time....:-). i will let you know and post a picture or two. Thanks.

It does what it says. A nice set of 1024px replacement textures for the roads.
No virus.

NOTE: FOR STANDARD ROADS, without vector!
