CLOSED Issue with installing REX 4

Hello,

I want to reinstall REX4 on my D hard space! I downloaded it from simmarket and if I wanna start it I only see a window and there stands: Enhanced.  And the window is only 1 second open and it closed automaticlly. And then nothing happend!

So you re-downloaded Texture Direct Enhanced Edition from your Simmarket account?

Yes I red-downloaded REX4 TEXTURE DIRECT WITH SOFT CLOUDS.

  • Is the previous REX uninstalled fully?
  • When you re-downloaded the software from SimMarket did you use a dedicated download manager or an internet browser?
  • Which unzipping utility did you use?
  • Which file are you starting the install with, the .exe or the .msi?

 I use 7 Zip and download it via Internet Browser. And starting it with the normal rexinstaller

Well there is an exe and an msi file, are you starting the exe? Also, when doing so, make sure to right-click and select run as admin.

If that fails, I would remove that download you have, then re-download using a dedicated download manager such as GetRight or FlashGet.
