Thanks Henrik

Ok so as far as I can see the panel cfg. looks ok .
and the main gauge folder shows the  MV_WX. DLL

but the screen is still black ...

Ok 1 more thing before this gets passed on to the next level...

have you tried it in any other aircraft other than this A330?

All I can suggest for now is installing the gauge into some other aircraft like one of the default, then copying out the relevant lines to the aliased panel cfg since the gauge tool doesn't go there.

The important ones are as follows:

Under the [Window Titles] group:

WindowXX = WX Advantage

And then the window itself:

[WindowXX]
ident = 71
visible = 0
sizeable = 1
size_mm = 419,381
position = 0
window_size = 0.2182291666667,0.33479789103690
window_pos = 0,0
gauge00 = MV_WX!WX2D,0,0,419,381,2
gauge01 = MV_WX!WX,64,121,291,205,2

Rather than use what I have posted here, best use what the gauge installer puts into your default aircraft's panel so you can choose the size you want it be on load.

Hi Narato-Kun

Is this the solution that Dreamer from Milvitz is writting about?

You have the MV_WX gauge in your sim directory\gauges folder? If so, please go to control panel->Administrative Tools->Event viewer->Windows logs->Application and see if there are any error reports involving your sim. Post them here.

That's not the log I am talking about. Check my directions on where to find the event again.

Yes that's more like it. Need it only for an error involving your sim though (you using P3D? FSXA? FSXSE?)

Hmm...Have you tried the gauge in other aircraft? Does it work in them?

Have tried on the A319 born with the FSX, same result. Could it be a W10 Graphic card problem?

Not necessarily. Is the whole popup black or is it just the radar display?
