RESOLVED Reinstall after System Change

Recommended Posts

Hi,

i´ve changed from Win7-32 to Win7-64 Bit.

So i have to do an complete Newinstall for Rex2004 with Overdrive.

Whats the current File to start setup?

I have in the last Year since Rex2004 is out a many of Installers. so i have:

"RexFs9.zip", "RexFS9_SP1... to SP4".Zip, then also "RexOverdrive2004_10.zip"

and "Rex_env"zip. all these Files downloaded here in Support.

Which is the right one to make an comlete install for the last version?

Thanks, Alti

It is missing "d3dx9_34.dll

Why i can solve this?

Thanks , Alti

Hi, i have installed it with all Service-packs.

Why is there no Download for an Final Version?

Because the devs are too busy with Simair.  They'll make a full REX FS9 install after their current development, ;).

But Now this error:

"ImageTool.exe - Systemfehler" while RexOverdrive is converting textures.

It is missing "d3dx9_34.dll

Why i can solve this?

Go to the Microsoft website, download and install DirectX9 for your OS and your issue will be resolved.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,  it is solved;

But i would like to have an Downloadfile from the final Version;

(without FSUIPC... - REX installs always an old version, so there was errors when runnig Flightsimulator!)

We cannot release a full version of REX FS2004 + Overdrive - simply because of bandwidth to be required for each download.

So it is easier for us to keep them separated.  If you purchased REX FS2004 through FSS you should be able to download the latest version with the most recent updates already in the build.

Then you would just need to install the latest version of Overdrive for the build you have installed.

I hope that helps.

In regards to the d3dx9_34.dll

This is a dll developed by Microsoft.  We cannot distribute this file.
