It's been a lot since I had to reinstall everything. Now the time has come and I found myself in need of some information before making a mess. 1. If I download now once again the products (texture direct, soft clouds) from Flight Sim Store, do I have to install all the service packs released since the first time I purchased the product? Or will the version be the last one, service packs included? 2. If I have to install all the service packs, considering that I have Texture Direct AND Soft clouds, what is the installation order of both the products? Do I have to install Texture Direct to the last SP, then Soft Clouds to the last SP, then the integration package to the last SP??? Thanks to all
Hi, i recently bougt REX 4. I have not owned a REX product before. I have installed REX doing as the directions said. I changed the cfg file to use the hd textures. After i choose my textures it says they were installed correctly, but when i get into fsx, my water textures are missing. Also the runway and taxiways are deffinetly not hd even though i put them to 4096. I have reinstalled REX and fsx multiple times, but i cant seem to fix this problem. Also the clouds do not appear. Please help. Thanks
Hi everybody, I got a question. Do you lose alot of quality when running on 1024 textures? Compared to the HD which is better I know, but my machine can't run them. Does anybody else here fly with 1024 bit textures? Thanks, Matthew.
hi, could someone answer me this please? if i have my fsx installation located on the outside of my hard drive platter after a defrag, and i change my REX textures, are the textures physically replaced in the same location on the hard drive, or is REX pointed to them in a different location, requiring another defrag? i'm pretty sure i asked this a couple of years ago and was told they're switched out and therefore don't need a defrag, but i forgot the answer and cant find the post, many thanks, chris.
