I recently had some issues with using the flightplans in REX which was resolved when I noted that one MUST input the ICAO code via the search in REX. But I now have noticed that you must also select a parking code as well. But if it turns out that if NO PARKING is found in the drop down parking in REX then it will not save the file to the REX flightplan folder. I was trying to setup an international flightplan from KXMR Fl to SBEG in Brazil. As it turns out no parking areas come up in the drop down box when you are trying to save the flightplan. I checked the airport diagram with AFX and found many such parking areas at SBEG. I also modified the airport to make sure parking area 1 was sufficient for the aircraft I was planning to fly. I do not know what the solution or the cause for this limitation but just wanted to make a note of it and to find out if this is a problem for REX programers or just my setup? Is there something I can do to rectify this on my end or is this a case for code change in future editions of REX? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, in the meantime I will use other software for my flightplans What I like about REX flightplans is the ease at which to alter or add way points to the FP while at the time getting weather reports and loading real time weather into FSX. Thank you NASSAC
Hello, I have this problem, that I can not use FSX flight plans. Even when I copy the FSX plans to the REX FlightPlans folder in the same way that REX is doing it, with Folders, whoes names are the name of the flightplan and in that folder is just the file "flightplan.pln", when I restart REX, I still can not see the plans with Browse. I only see the flightplan that was created with REX.
