  1. Problem: None of the textures are being applied to FSX SP2 Background: I Recently upgraded my hard drive to an SSD, so this is a re-installation of REX4. Installed and Fully Updated Windows 7 (x64) Installed REX4 Texture Direct but had installation problems. The REX installer couldn't download .NET 4.5 so I had to download and install it manually. The REX installer was able to complete the installation after I installed .NET. Fully updated REX to 4.3.2014.0814 and Installed the Texture service pack. Activation of REX worked as expected. What I am encountering: After creating a backup of installed FSX textures, I created a theme, saved it and then installed it into the simulator. I receive the message "Your textures have been successfully installed.", and I click OK to Launch FSX I launch Free Flight, but what I see is what appears to be the default clouds, runway textures, lights, etc. None of the texturing from REX appear after what must have seemed like hours of attempting to get it to work. Attempts to troubleshoot: I noticed that installlog was showing a double backslash in the path, so I figured there must be a path problem. I noticed that the path for Microsoft FSX under "Flight Simulation Folder Location" in the texture utility had an extra backslash at the end of the path to FSX. I clicked browse and re-selected the "Microsoft Flight Simulator X" folder. After doing so, I noticed that the backslash was dropped. I hoped that this was the problem, however, the texture installation still problem continued. Is there a solution to this? Is this happening because I am re-installing the software? The software worked fine when I installed it in early 2014. Specifications: UAC is off I'm running Windows 7 x64 Processor is an i7-2820QM @ 2.30GHz, 16GB Video AMD Radeon HD 6900M Any help is greatly appreciated.
  2. Hello, I need some help regarding the best route to update from my current REX Essentials + OD 3.6.2013.0124 to the latest. The version that I am currently on is the Beta 2 update. With the release of the official update earlier this month, what path do I take to updating to this? Thanks, Karan
