Hi guys, I am an owner of a REX4 TD wSC licence. I was juste wondering if by any means I could install Rex4 TD, standalone (no soft clouds), for P3Dv4 using my licence in an official manner ? Thanks
I was told that REX TD HD with Soft Clouds which I purchased a year or so ago for P3D 3.4 was now available for V4. So I went to my account and downloaded this "reinstaller.zip" file. Then I unzipped it and ran it and told it to save all those CAB files to a folder on my desktop. But when I run the installer all it gives me is the choice to Modify, Repair, or Uninstall it. When I saw Modify all it does is tell me it can modify Main Feature and Net Framework 4.5 and it says it will place 0KB on your hard drive. I already have it installed in 3.4, why can't this work? I know two people who have it running so what am I doing wrong? I just saw this post: I am very sorry to hear about the issue you are having. Please let me ask a couple of questions and offer a couple suggestions so I can get a better picture of things: 1.) Did you use a browser or a download manager to download the files? If not please use a download manager. 2.) If not please turn off your Antivirus software during installation as sometimes they play havoc with installation. 3.) Make sure your UAC is set to never notify. 4.) What operating system are you using? Are you he full administrator? 5.) Sometimes registry can become corrupt. Please download the free version of CCleaner and run the registry cleaner to fix some hidden issues that can cause installation issues. Let me know how things go. So I will answer. 1) Download manager. 2) No av installed whatsoever 3) UAC is always off and I double checked it 4) Windows 7/64, yes, always as admin 5) Ran CC Cleaner, no problems at all Please advise.
