Hello I use p3dv4.5 and have that problem if I want to load the pmdg 737 then it does not load. the screen stays black. this problem is only with REX inviroment force. my version is 5.0.2019.0517 I've also installed other REX products like ASp3dv4, REX skyforce p3d, who has a solution Thank you 737fan66

  5. I start AS than EF and than P3D. There is no indication withing P3D that EF is working Please help Dekel EDIT: My DLL.xml in ProgramData/Lockheed Martin/Prepar3d V4/ was corrupted. Cleaning the file solves the issue

Just bought REX EF Ive heard that the Build 5.0.2019.0517 fixed the HDR bloom error yet i have that one and its still doing it, i do have tomato shade installed, i experience this looking down at the throttles in the VC of any aircraft and when i look up it the bloom is way way way to bright and hardly could see anything. I was wondering if i could do anything to fix this issue. i have REX EF in automation mode. i have REX sky force 3D updated and installed. the HDR setting in the sim are all at 1.00. thank you so much! .
  7. I've been looking through all the topics you have marked as Fixed in the next patch, water and Fog etc. All in Auto mode mainly. Can you give some ETA on the next patch as it looks to really move EF on? Please don't reply, with "it will be ready when its ready" reply please, thank you. Looking forward to it.
  8. REX has lost contact with servers and it tells me to contact support if this continues. It is continuing, so I'm contacting support ;-) I don't know how to submit a ticket because I've never had to before. Thanks. Gavin
  9. Using REX EF in automode with AS I saw that after a couple of minutes all clouds scale up and down every few seconds. I use the automode and everything activated. It happens with REX sf3d and 3party clouds . Turning off smoothing doesnt help . The behavior happens quick. Like all clouds increase x% in a splitsecond and 1 or 2 seconds later the decrease to the volume they had before increasing. Note: ALL of them increase exact the same scale/volume and decreasing also. This goes as long till I reset automode. It than returns again after some time (couple of minutes). Need some advice. Uninstalling and installing again did not help. Even uninstalled and reinstalled p3d client and content. Incl. Deleting shaders foder and renewal p3d.cfg......newest updates REX ef rexsf3d and p3d v4.5 hf i nstalled. 8700k 2080ti with and without vr.
  10. I use EF+SF3D+ASP4 SF3D must not be startet when using NF. What About the Settings in SF3D. Are the Settings what i have make in SF3D working when it is closed. I do not use the weather engine from SF3D What is About ASCA. Better to dissable ? Thanks from EDDM Frank
  11. @REX Specialists! P3D 4.5HF and latest REX EF Update installed and not using PTA or further shader tweaks at this moment. Tested with standard P3D clouds also with Envtex clouds injected via ASCA FullDynamic. Also REX SF clouds seems to bright. But as there are issues with REX SF at this moment I don´t want to state this as an official bug/issue. UseCase1: Nights with HDR turned off: In my opinion using the REX EF would be much better at night if the clouds and terrain weren´t that bright (Street/City-Lights are perfect, but here I really mean the Terrain/Ground) and white clouds). It seems that the P3D moonphase and his light is having influence on this one, but it can´t be reduced with REX EF (at this moment). Actually it isn´t realistic seeing the clouds at night, even if we have full moon phase. Turning of the Moon light influence in the P3D.CFG doesn´t solve this either. Is this an REX EF issue or is this how the product works? If it is designed this way, I would like to see this one developped in future. I´m aware that this is mainly a P3D functionallity. But as the generall lightning can be influenced with REX EF, it would really be good to have some settings to influence/tune this for clouds either. I would expect (or whish) that the AutoMode of REX EF will/can handle this (in future). Could you please give a feedback if this should be a REX EF function or if this could/should be a future functionallity? UseCase 2: Nights with HDR turned on: HDR turned on in P3D and REX EF has still to much milky influence at daytime inside the cockpitview flying with PMDG and FSLabs planes. But that isnot my main problem in this topic. I did show Federico in a teamviewer session what the issue is (blooming influence getting more and more over time, even after tunig in REXEF minigui). Now I want to give a feedback to the following issues with HDR on especially at night flying. At night HDR turned on makes the cockpit and scenery lights far to dark. It isn´t possible to see any streetlights on ground above FL 100 (FL = rough estimate). The cockpit lightning (illuminated buttons) etc.) are also to dark! This is not realistic. The clouds in this usecase seem to be to bright (as in usecase 1 above already stated it´s also the case with HDR on). I would like to see here more adjustment functionallity in Tweakmode AND more realistic behaviour in AutoMode. Terrain/Ground is perfect black. Streetlights much to dark, should be much lighter. Cockpit illumminated buttons much to dark, should be lighter too. If whished I can ellaborate on this. Maybe in a further teamviewer session to show what is present/not present right now. UseCase 2 kills immersion using HDR on at night. Using ORBX or Standard streetlights makes no difference. They are all to dark. Hope there can be done something in near future. If a teamviewer session is required, we can do this any time (I´m lving in Germany: UTC +2) Thanks for your great support. This product is having a lot off great opportunities in my opinion!   12. Dear REX, Federico ( @fs1 ), there are multiple posts regarding the status "Waiting" for "Scene lighting". Your (and others) answers were: Lighting changes with weather. If there is no change in weather, that status will show Waiting! While I do find the answer logic, I still have problems with it! You see, ALL options in the GUI do change based on real-time weather (it is written in the brief description under each option). So why on earth would you show the status "waiting / running" in real time only for the scene lighting option??? 😲 Does EF constantly change "Water control" for example, or the "texture sync", or..... Does my Q make any sense guys? Since things related to lights (bright nights, bright cockpit, etc...) were amongst those features beeing constantly discussed / reported as not working / troublesome, you guys choose to monitor only the status for the Scene lighting? I ask this because that is the only thing that constantly switches between Waiting and Running My sugestion to you guys is to change this ASAP in the GUI. If a feature is active and running then please either leave it to Running or please monitor all other options in real time so that those also switch from Waiting to Running. BR, Gerald
  13. Hi; I am using TomatoShade (RD preset v1.18) with EF and SF (RD Theme v1.1). However, I find the sky looks so dull or gloomy for a sunny day in the Caribbean. How do I brighten up the scenery, do I change settings in TS or do I change settings in the mini UI; with either one which of the parameters do I change to get the sky looking brighter? Thanks,
  14. Hi REX, I have just purchased REX 5 - Environment Force (EF) and on the point of giving it a workout. Before I do, I would like to have one point clarified please: the use of EF with other 3rd Party shader utilities. Following the thread at AVSIM only succeeds in causing much confusion as messages and advice provided are very mixed and often contradictory. This, of course, was compounded by the fact that EF was, in reality, still in the Bets testing stage of development and early adopters were encountering a variety of issues. I received an email a few days ago announcing the official release of EF so am assuming we now have a stable and reasonably bug free version. To date I have always favoured the use of Shader Presets rather than being faced with time consuming tinkering. My current favourite is Tomato Shade R&D Preset v1.8. My preference for EF would be to use it in Automatic Mode. Now to my question: Am I correct in assuming that any changes made by EF in Automatic Mode are done from the position of using the default base shader settings currently in play, whether this be the Prepar3D v4.5 shader defaults (which are nice) or those previously installed by a 3rd Party Preset, as I have done? This would be convenient as it obviates the need to restore the sim’s default shaders before using EF for the first time. Also, can I assume that the previously installed shader cache (compiled from either a Shader Preset or P3D default) would remain in place, and reflected by the appearance of the sim, if EF is terminated? Any Shader Preset, such as the one provided by R&D, depends on the recommended use of specific Sky textures. R&D base their Preset development and intended results on a Sky texture set provided by REX Sky Force 3D. When I exit EF, would this Sky Texture set be restored along with the associated Preset Shader values and Shader Cache compiled by referencing my previously installed R&D Tomato Shade Preset? On-the-fly EF shader changes (such as occurs in Automatic Mode) implies that these are indeed not permanent and such a scenario, is indeed possible. Edit: In the meantime, pending further advances, I will continue to use AS for Prepar3Dv4 as my weather engine. That being the case, EF might be leaving non base Shader values on exit unless, and again this is pure speculation on my part, the methods employed to adjust environmental Shader values on-the-fly in Automatic Mode is executed in a way that avoids changing the default P3Dv4.5/3rd Party Preset values contained in files held in the ShadersHLSL folder. Perhaps these ‘base’ values are copied and worked on outside the running sim. That would preserve the entire set of ‘base’ Shader values as well as allowing those values controlling such things as Virtual Cockpit lighting, and not dependent on changing Sky textures, to be protected. Or, could it be that these assumptions are incorrect? Thanks. Kind regards, Mike
  15. Hi, I noticed that if I exit a P3D session, then exit EF, unless I restart the computer, EF will not start at all. Should EF be closed before or after closing the sim?

Hi, Using P3DV4.5 hotfix 1 , when I select an A/C in the select menu or using sim options panel whatever , after press OK , sim suddenly stops or sometimes A/C selection view seems white fully. when I delete the shaders after closing sim , everthing is seems to be fine , please help Best Regards Erkal

  20. As the titles states, I just want to use Environment force for cloud smoothing rather than Active Sky if there is a way. Also, another question, sometimes the weather conditions like fog changes dramatically, i.e~ sky changes color for a quick second before reverting back to the original scene. And also, sometimes the fog comes in dramatically. What setting causes this? Is it scene lighting or weather smoothing?
  21. hello , its again brightness from inside cockpit , this issue was solved after the last update of EF , why is it back again ? and when i try to reset to manufacturer setting through the mini UI the simulator crashed , this was after 9 hours flight at approach ( i will never forgive you about that )
  22. Hi there, Every time I start Environment Force, it asks me to register the software again and again. Even inside the software if I try to update the profile with the registration again, still doesn't work. It keep showing Costumer ID 1000 I've seen the post regarding the log in and the 2 files that have to have full control....tried it, no luck. **Update** After a couple of computer restarts it finally worked Showing the correct Costumer ID and registration.   24. I've read through the manual several times, and I still seem to be missing this. My understanding is that the mini-UI just appears at sim startup time as long as I've previously started EF (that's what seems to happen, anyway). The manual also states "It’s important to note that the Mini UI can be scrolled, re-sized and hidden for convenience inside the simulator", but this is what's puzzling me. I can hide it, via the little symbol (which I can barely see on my 4k monitor) in the top right hand corner of the UI, but I can't see any way of getting it back again after that. No amount of right clicking, searching the system tray or any of the P3D menu options seem to give me this capability. Am I doing something stoopid here? (Oh, and I found the option to change the font size on the mini-UI but if you could possibly consider a couple more larger sizes being available in any future upgrade that'd be great. Even the largest of the three current ones is a bit of a stretch at 4k) cheers, Andy
  25. It looks really good together with the Easyjet-Livery and the FSL A319, but not really relistic. Using Tomato RD-Preset 1.8 and P3d v4.5HF. Any suggestions?
