  1. Anti-virus seems to be the key (I was already running it as admin). With AV on then it seems where REX spawns C# compiler sessions (csc.exe) is where things grind to a halt. Works fine suspending my AV (AVG Free) but haven't quite figured out what exception rule to apply which works. EDIT: Seems an Identity Protection exception for the .NET V2 folder does the trick. Thanks for the help.
  2. I had similar but after a Windows 10 upgrade. If you leave it a while (30 minutes in my case) does it work/progress? If you run REX as Admin in Windows 7 or 8 compatibility mode does it work?
  3. Thanks. As a workaround then running with Windows 7 compatibility mode seems to work in the timely fashion that i'd expect. EDIT: Windows 8 mode also works OK. Tried uninstall and reinstall and same issue persists. Ideally i'd like it working without compatibility mode as subsequently running FSX in compatibility mode is screwing up another add-on of mine.
  4. Yes. Interestingly if you leave it a long time it eventually succeeds in loading. I'm just trying to acertain exactly how long. EDIT: Seems to be about 25-30 minutes.
  5. Just updated a Windows 7 install to Windows 10. Starting Essentials + Overdrive brings up the splash screen but it seems to hang indefinitely at the "Building Windows and Themes" point. Any suggestions as to how I should proceed? I am on 3.8.2014.1126
