Hi there, Because you purchased Texture Direct and Soft Clouds separately, you would need to download Texture Direct only, use that serial key, and then install the Soft Clouds integration with your other key. The TD key you have won't activate the combined installer. However...if you are only using Texture Direct for water and runways, you don't even need to reinstall Soft Clouds.
  5. Hi Hans, That message sounds like REX Essential, not REX Sky Force. Are you sure it is Sky Force you are running? Also, can you please post your Sky Force order number?

  7. Hi there, I will check to see if there are any outstanding server issues but I am not aware of any. Are you able to pull data from Sky Force? Did this come up right when you opened the program?
  8. Hi there, I'm sorry you are experiencing these issues. Please understand our support staffing is limited on the weekends. Please do the following: STEPS FOR GIVING FULL CONTROL: 1 - Right-click on the REX main folder (i.e C:\REX...) and click on the Properties option 2 - Click on the Security Tab, and select your user profile from the list provided. Click the EDIT button to give Full Control rights. Then click the APPLY button and OK button to complete your action. 3 - Perform steps 1 and 2 on your main FSX or P3D folders. IF YOU DO NOT SEE YOUR USER PROFILE NAME ON THE LIST PLEASE DO THE FOLLOWING: From the Security Tab Window 1 - Click the EDIT button, then click the ADD button. 2 - In the new pop-up window "Select Users and Groups", click the ADVANCED button. 3 - In the new pop-up window click the "FIND NOW" button. In the list below select your username you log into windows that have Administrative Rights. 4 - Click the OK button, then click the OK button again. 5 - Then in the list in the "Permissions..." window select the name you added and give Full Control rights. 6 - Then click the APPLY button and OK button. 7 - Perform steps 1 - 6 on your main FSX or P3D folders.
  9. Please do the following on both machines: 1.) Make sure your UAC (User Account Control) is set to never notify. 2.) Make sure REX has inbound/outbound access via your firewall software. 3.) Make sure REX has exclusion rights within your Antivirus software. 4.) Make sure you right click the REX icon and select "Run As Administrator" Let me know how this goes.
  10. Hi there, I see you purchased REX from our store, so you are using our download manager correct? Are you utilizing download option 1 or 2?

Hi there, The cloud textures we developed in the past (original REX products for FS2004 and FSX, Texture Direct) have a relatively "sharp," defined look to them particularly at high resolutions. In real life, some clouds look very well defined like that but others look more soft and "puffy." Soft Clouds was developed to display the latter, conceived as an add-on for Texture Direct (though sold standalone as well). Sky Force contains its own new soft cloud texture types, and can display both the "sharper" and "puffier" clouds. Let me know if that helps!

  14. Hi Daniel, For textures you will need a copy of Texture Direct and Soft Clouds on every computer. Make sure you install the same set of textures on all three, and you're good to go.
  15. Please fully uninstall Soft Clouds, run a registry cleaner such as CCleaner, and reinstall. This is an issue usually fixed by a simple clean reinstall.

  18. Hi there, REX Essential is not currently compatible with P3D v4 and we do not have any plans to update it for P3D v4 capability. Our other products, including Sky Force and Texture Direct, are compatible with P3D v4. Can you please elaborate what you mean by "the menu is gone"?

  20. Hi Will, I think the download may be corrupted. Please do the following: 1. Download REX using a download manager, with your antivirus disabled. 2. Extract the zip file using 7zip. 3. With antivirus still disabled, right-click the rexinstaller.exe file and choose Run as Administrator. Let me know if that solves your issue!
