  4. Hello REX, Just a quicky.... Can I use my "REX 4 - Texture Direct with Soft Clouds Enhanced Edition" install for P3Dv3, on my new machine with P3Dv4 installed? Or do I have to buy the product again to suit P3Dv4...? Regards, Tim.
  5. Just to be clear.....my DVD version is 4.4.2015.0115 and ALL of your updates state you need 4.6.xxx.x.x.x and above for it to work...!? Is this correct?
  6. Been there done that!!!! 1. Completely disable your antivirus software. Always have! 2. Re-download. Had done that when I uninstaled ALL of my REX stuff... 3. If it's a zip file, decompress the files with 7zip or WinZip, if applicable. There was no zip file just an .exe. 4. Make sure your UAC (User Account Control) is set to never notify. Has always been that way. 5. With your antivirus still disabled, right-click setup.exe and choose "Run as Administrator." Yep....done that too!! I had followed your instructions to a "T" before I posted this issue. Now what...?

  9. Hello Chaps, I bought REX 4 Texture Direct -Soft Clouds on DVD from FSS the other year. Last night I tried installing the latest update and it did not work!?! So I have had to start all over again and uninstalled the program. Then I realised that there were a bunch of hot fixes/updates to get my DVD version upto speed.... I now.....can not find these hotfixes/updates anywhere on this website to help me get my DVD version up to scratch with the latest updates. How can I fix this please...? Cheers, Tim.

  11. Will do. But where are service packs 01, 02, 03 and 04..!?!? Plus too the DVD says P3Dv1 and P3Dv2. Can the DVD be "updated" to P3Dv3 at all?

Hello REX, I have installed my DVD copy of "REX 4 Direct with soft clouds" onto my P3Dv3 drive (F:) but when I got to click on the update (which is a large red sign) button which is on the REX main screen after launching the program.....It downloads an .exe program. When I unzip that program and go to run it keep getting this error!?!? What does this mean? How do I fix this? and why is there not a "REX: file in my F: drive? I have a bunch of REX files eg: "images", "sounds", "textures" and "windvanes", along with a bunch of seprerate entires eg: "MediaID.bin", "rextexture.mdf", "rextexture_log.ldf", "rextexturedirect.exe", "rextexturedirect.exe.config", "rextexturedirect.XmlSerializers.ddl" and "rexusermanula.pdf" floating around in my F: drive!? Should these not be under a "REX file of some sort?? Cheers, Tim.
