  1. Just checking in. I havent had an issue with weather injection as of late, and your last reply resolves my continuing issue. I recommend this topic be resolved.
  2. Ok, seems like it has stopped for some reason or another. I did switch to Standard mode, just checked again that it was in WX Plus mode again. I have not seen it stop injecting weather, but that doesnt mean the problem has been solved. The map still doesnt display, just a weather radar report overlayed on a blank white screen. Will test further this weekend when I have time to do so...
  3. Ive never really messed with these options before, I just keep it WX Plus.
  4. REX Ess + Overdrive build 3.7.2013.0715 While flying, I get this error message after a few minutes. The weather will load successfully the first few minutes, then after a while it gives me this error message that it could not install the current weather theme. The weather theme will instantly revert back from whatever weather was loaded to clear skies. This was after I had: A) selected Fly Now B ) right clicked on REXWX and selected Load Weather Using Real Time Weather gives me the same results. I have no error log to provide as none have been written. I have also noticed that the weather map doesnt display on the radar screen like it used to. It just shows a white empty screen. This happens both in FSX and P3D. My latest was in P3D 2.2 with the configuration manager pointing directly to my Prepared V2 installation folder. P3D and FSX are installed on H: drive, while REX is installed on F: drive.
  5. Just a small update - I was able to retrieve my P3d key, but it was with an old, outdated email address. Any chance I can just get that email address changed with a reciept emailed to my current email address?
  6. I never recieved anything from REX studios, even checked my spam folder. The customer license reactivation form just displays my information cannot be verified. I have the paypal transaction history if needed to prove this, but I cant go any further than that for some reason. The configuration settings account info page generates my username and password, which I use for the reactivation form. Gives me the same "cannot be verified" issue I am experiencing.
  7. I did purchase the P3d key through the link provided on the REX configuration manager. I did not recieve an email with my license key, and I did have it successfully activated. I had to reinstall REX on a different partition to save SSD space, and now the license is missing again. I have tried these links to no avail http://www.rexwebservices.com/issuetracker/useraccount.aspx http://www.rexwebservices.com/issuetracker/customervalidation.aspx my email address is kevin.utley@yahoo.com
  8. I did this as well. Flew a flight for about 2 hours. At first, weather wouldnt refresh at all, and I flew for about 45 minutes. I alt tabbed to desktop and clicked on refresh weather. Weather started refreshing immediately, and refreshed every 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  9. Since installing SP1 RTM, Ive been receiving notifications every 30 seconds for weather injection. Running in WX Plus mode. ERROR TRAPING FOR REX ESSENTIAL Class Location: metardata.add5LatLont Error: Data type mismatch in criteria expression. ERROR TRAPING FOR REX ESSENTIAL Class Location: weathertheme.generateSmoothWTfile Error: Could not find file 'C:\Real Environment Xtreme Essential\WxTheme\current.bgl'.mscorlib Further, Ive ran the current.batch file, so now there is a current.bgl file now to be read. I will test further, but I do not know if this is an issue at the moment. I wont really notice anyways since I turned off the green status bar update in the menu, but it is indeed updating every 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  10. No, I just got done reinstalling 70 gigs worth of scenery and addons to want to try troubleshooting again. I apologize, but I lost enough hair already! I think the possible problem was an edit to the general10.fh file designed to fix the flickering runways in DX10 mode was the problem. I got everything working again on a clean install, and I dont want to go through that anymore.
  11. Actually no its not, because its the only thing that is keeping it from being stable. I just tried it with FSWC and works just fine. Shader Mod 3 is at fault, I just confirmed it. I am running this in DX10 mode, Im using FSWC lite with the DX10 preset, and REXE works perfectly. I install the shader 3 mod, REXE hangs. I confirmed this by renaming the installed shader textures folder ShadersHLSL____ and renaming the backup folder to the original. I just now reconfirmed it yet again by doing a manual install of shader 3 mod testing REXE before and after.
  12. It runs just fine. I found the problem, and it was pretty hard to weed out. REX Essentials is incompatible with Bojote's Shader 3 mod, and Im wondering why....does REX Essentials handle shader models?
  13. It worked flawlessly until now. No error log to show at this time. I uninstalled, ran Ccleaner, reinstalled. Problem still persists. I did install FSWC and Sha3mod (shader mod 3) before this started happening. I uninstalled these 2 programs as well. No joy. I cant think of anything else that I might have done to cause this to hang, Ive been messing around with my fsx.cfg, thats about it.
