  1. Thank you. I just installed the update and everything seems to be working fine. This topic can be marked as solved. Thanks again.
  2. Hi. Thank you for your response. As soon as I click on locate the folder button, or something like that (I don't remember well because I'm at work now), It suddenly gives me this error. Normally, I can open the updater application. But when ÅŸt asks me to locate the REX folder, and I click on it, and locate the REX folder and click on OK, it gives me this error. Thank you very much for your further assistance. Edit: If we are unable to resolve issue, could you please tell me which update should I install first for my build? Thanks again.
  3. Oops! I just installed AutoUpdate for REX, I ran it and I got an error message saying: Is something wrong with my files? (Net framework etc..) I hate it because I will need to reformat my computer again if it is so. Do you know a fix for that? Thank you.
  4. Hi captains, My current build is 3.6.2013 0415 after the update. What should I download next? - REX ESS PLUS OVERDRIVE - SERVICE PACK 2 - UPGRADE FOR ALL BUILDS OF REX ESSENTIAL PLUS or - REX ESS PLUS OD - SERVICE PACK 2 - FOR BUILD 3.6.2013.0415 I didn't know which one to update since the Service Pack 2 for all builds is too big in size, and currently I have a slow internet connection. I have already downloaded SP2 for build 3.6.2013 0415. I don't want to ruin the files by updating with a wrong file. Thank you very much.
  5. Thank you very much. You helped me to solve this
  6. Hi. Every time I open REX, under the window, it says "Weather Download Process" (Converting Winds etc...) I cannot do anything before it finishes. Every time I have to wait it to finish. How can I disable it? It takes too long. And I have a slow internet connection Thanks.
  7. Hi. Thank you very much for your help. I formatted my PC, and the installation file that I downloaded worked like a charm! Thank you again. Best regards, Mustafa
  8. Hi rstough, I have contacted you via e-mail. Thank you for your help.
  9. Wow! I cannot see Restore and Purchase Now buttons in my version For your question, you need to select where you installed FSX. For example: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X
  10. Hi timest999, Thank you very much for your reply. I am answering the questions. GENERAL REX ANSWERS 1-) REX Build number: 3.7.2013.0715 2-) I don't know the mode because REX asks me to locate the FSX folder, hence I cannot run REX. (I haven't started using it) 3-) I bought from the FlightSim Store. The setup files are 8.69 GB in total. My order date is 2013-02-25. I applied service packs and updates as soon as I installed. Thinking the reason was because of service packs and updates, I uninstalled and tried to run without service packs and updates. But still no luck. 4-) Yes, it is turned off. I did it as soon as I formatted the computer. 5-) I ran the installer with left click, Run as Administrator. I run the software in the same way. 6-) Rate at which weather changes over time is set to no change. WINDOWS SETUP ANSWERS 1-) My operating system is Windows 7 with Service Pack 1 and all the updates are applied. 2-) My RAM size is 16 GB 3-) My Video Card is HD7870 DC2T-2GD5 with 2048 MB Memory. 4-) No overclokcing to both processor and graphics card is applied. 5-) OS Drive © Size: 240 GB SSD (Microsoft FSX is installed here). Drive D is an HDD, and REX is installed in Drive D. It is 454 GB Free. 6-) I am not using REX in a network. 7-) FSX is installed with Service Pack 1 and Service Pack 2. 8-) Internet connection is active. 9-) Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 is active and running. 10-) Kaspersky's internal Firewall is active. 11-) I am not using FSUIPC. 12-) It is D:\REX Essential Plus Overdrive 13-) It is C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X Additional information: With this hardware, I used to use REX perfectly. But after receiving fatal errors in FSX, I formatted the computer, and reinstalled the OS. After installing all the updates, FSX, and REX, I have started experiencing this problem. REX Setup files are stored on two different external harddrives from which I installed and ran in my previous OS. I don't think they are corrupt. EDIT: I also uploaded a video showing the issue at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3SZcRmEs3j4&feature=youtu.be Thank you.
  11. And also, today I realized that I cannot see any username, password boxes for backing up, restoring, as well ass Prepar3D rights. Is the screenshot attached normal?
  12. Yes, I do. I also ran the installer as administrator. Still no luck.
  13. Hi. I just installed REX Overdrive, and it asks me to set the simulator folder location. When I browse Microsoft Flight SÄ°mulator location and click ok, nothing happens! It's all empty. I try to enter manually like this c:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X" it is written in the box but it doesn't save. When I exit and open the program again, it still wants me to enter fsx folder directory. I have no idea why this happens. I am also attahing a screenshot. Thank you very much for your help. Edit: I am also uploading my Programs and Features list, so that you can identify the Visual C++ versions or whatever (I don't understand these..). You won't be able to see REX in the list because I uninstalled. I now reinstalled again, still no luck... Thanks again.
