I am trying to troubleshoot the fact that FlightAware's FP tool no longer seems to recognize me through REX Essential OD and instead of offering FPing options, presents me with a screen to sign up for the service. I know I have the service since I just received another email saying a $1.99 charge would be appearing on my credit card.
In the course of trying to troubleshoot, I noticed that my user name (which is in the format XX-XXX) gets somehow converted to XXXXX (hyphen removed). But when I select under the Backup/Restore configuration section "Forgot your username and password" it returns my email address and username correctly (with the hyphen).
But when I go to "Enter your profile name" and re-type username with hyphen, and then watch as it says "Your changes have been saved" and go to some other tab and return, the hyphen is once again gone. I imagine this is why FlightAware thinks I'm a new user.
