  1. Super info, now it makes sense, the first number is the one to watch........PS, I recall seeing a number of replies and posts around 300 (per day?), so your staff must be a busy place, anyway, just wanted to thanks you guys for taking the time to answer minor questions like mine!! B42L8
  2. Thanks for c;earomg this up, not to belabor the subject, but, if you have a minute, can you tell us why there are many higher numbers, like 3..6, 3.8, and maybe 4.0plus 2015 dates?? Seems as tho these would be a lots of updates to what I have??..........Maayabe others understand the numbers, but is confusing to me for sure............at least I know I am up to date!!.................regards, B42L8
  3. Been a while since posting and using the compputer, so trying to catch up to current versions, and do posting in correct places........I can't find any of the updates to start from this version, can you please list the way I get to latest version for the P3D v 3........thanks!! B42L8 Richard Leonard
  4. OK, 3.8 not for me..........got it!...B42L8
  5. thanks for making that clear, but still the 3.8 question??? B42L8
  6. As always, good follow up and service!!! B42L8
  7. good to know, but why the 3.8 1126, plus a hotfix??these not needed??.....B42L8
  8. Been a while since had time to update REX, but I have 3.4 1211 and want to get the current version...there does not seem to be any patches to move up one level to get going on all the others??.....appreciate the help as always....thanks B42L8
  9. I have a similar situation,,,, I have REX Texture Direct 4 build 4.3.2014.1210 and soft Cloud build 4.1.2015.109 installed in P3D, in separate folders, ........I downloaded the integration patch into the REX TD folder along with the atomation patch (saw in another post), and ran as administrator, pop up said I had t have TD version 1210 installed?? I right clicked both exe.s and both said they were up to date??..................Where am I going wrong this time............thanks, B42L8
  10. Thanks as I stated, there is no rush on this, so far it all works, but I was cnfused about the REX4 setup..............regards, B42L8
  11. After being helped by Customer Support to get REX4 and Ess+OD installed in the right folders, and learning how to properly start each program, I believe my P3D system is finally working as it is designed...............but, I have a question................to fill out the REX4 info page, it calls for the weather engine box to be checked (it is), and to direct the program to the "weather engine.exe" (not sure),, but I can't find one??......Can someone tell me where it should be and which program installed it.........NOTE, this is purely to satisfy a curiosity as it comes to life with the "fly now" in Essentials. Maybe there isn't one or it is in a separate location??.........Also, point of info, do I need to keep all the earlier versions of these current programs, or should I be deleting as each new patch or version is installed..............Many thanks, B42L8
  12. just a note to the other posters, I just finished a session with the ONE ON ONE, and I can't say enough nice things about the assistance in finding (my errors) in the programs, which probably was a fault of having REX in so many locations over the years as I moved to larger computers and changed to P3D...........in any case, I am one happy camper, as all the REX programs are in their separate locations, properly named, and all systems GO!!............thanks again Galen, and to the REX staff that set up this service...............(I have one other large program I wish would do the same) B42L8
  13. thanks for setting this up, I will be in Phoenix from Jan 8 thru 11,without my computer, so the time works out well................B42L8
  14. Back again, started REX TD, looks OK, clicked to start P3D, that and REX Ess came up, but no Weather Engine!!............As I stated, I cannot find the weng.exe in any folders, this after I repaired the SP3, and TD v2......sure could use some help in finding how to get this fixed and get back to normal simming...........regards, B442L8
  15. Sorry for the delay, but had to "repair" P3D as that strted jumping all over, then did a repair of REX TD and also the Ess+OD, as I was not getting the Weather Engine to come alive.........started TD first, then shen select P3D, both that and Ess+ come up at same time??............but I did get the WE!!, One of my final (I hope,) is where is the weatherengine.exe supposed to be located thaat the TD manual talks about putting in the configuration??..........I cannot find one??.......and going back to an earlier question, should I be showing the 12 REX programs in the program files??......................I will reboot everything and try the whole thing again later and let you know....................but so far, it looks like we are nearing the finish line............thanks, again B42L8
