Just to let you know the link in the Product User Manuals at the top of the page for the REX 4 Texture direct Manual directs to:

    https://https/www.realenvironmentxtreme.com/forums/index.php?/forum/222-user-manuals/

This obviously will not work until the user removes the first https://.

OOPS I need to update them.  Thanks for reminding me.

I am interested in creating custom weather so I am looking at purchasing  Wx Architect. I have 2 questions.

Is it possible to create low visibility cells without precipitation ?

You can create areas of fog, but not cells of clouds without precipitation.  When we are able to our hopes are to expand this in SP1.  But we have had to put it on hold for a term due to other pressing items.

In Global wx settings does the coverage option apply to all cirrus or cumulus clouds or does this create another layer with the selected coverage setting.

Global ONLY affects the global areas where the specific cell regions are not.  The specific set cell areas will overwrite the global.  This is by default within the sim, no way around that.

Please see my response in red above:

    Hi,

I have P3DV4 and i would like to enjoy the sales to buy REX 4 texture direct & soft cloud , but i'm wondering if when update for V4 will be release, i will must pay again or If I rather interest to wait but maybe sales will no longer be topical ?

Thanks for your back and help.

I am very sorry for the late response.  All updates to REX products are free.  So you do not need to pay for the update.  REX 4 Texture Direct w/Soft Clouds should be updated by the 8th of August.  That is the plan as of right now.

    Hi all

A quick question given that there is a sale on but one that would put things into a better perspective for me.

Currently I have installed into FSX - HD Airports, Rex4 Texture Direct with Soft Clouds, Weather Architect and WX Radar Advantage.

So my question is - as I get a little confused as to the current offerings, what other REX software that would enhance and would be recommended for my setup?

    Thank-you in advance     Regards Stu

Oh.. PS  please make the weather architect radar screen re-sizable.  Ta

As of right now you are covered pretty good.  We will be releasing Sky Force soon.  So you might want to have a look at that when it is available.

I currently have REX 4 Texture Direct (FSpilotshop Order 559477)

I wanted to know my upgrade options. Should I buy soft clouds + weather architect + WX Advantage Weather? Is there an upgrade path/discount for this path or combination thereof?

Should I wait for the next product I keep hearing about? What would this new product include from the above (including REX 4 Texture Direct)?

    Any advice is surely appreciated.

    Thanks!

First let me clarify what REX Weather Architect does.  It is a custom weather engine NOT a real-time weather engine.  Are you looking for custom or real-time weather?
