  1. Nah, I just won't select Soft Clouds.. I think you have enough there to send to the devs and stick some error handling around that bit, even if its to say please re-install xxx... I am more frustrated by having to manually run REX 5 EVERY time manually BEFORE starting Prepar3D.. oh and then having to click YES I WANT TO MANUALLY EDIT.. why in gods name isn't this a setting that is saved between sessions and why doesn't REX automatically load up with P3D? Something to do with injecting the DLLs I bet but yea its a real PITA and with SIMSTARTER it doesn't always load in time so I basically have a 50/50 chance of having REX working in any session so I am losing interest in it. I also don't see smooth weather changes with Active Sky which is the real reason I bought it. Its really a very poor user experience, not to mention no ability to update a profile/SAVE changes, years of this madness in your apps, you have to create a new PROFILE every time and cannot overwrite the old one! Its absolutely crazy UX design! 🤦‍♂️
  2. I have Texture Direct. I can select and sync Cloud sets until I try a "Soft Clouds" set at which point REX crashes (event log below). A missing TRY CATCH perhaps.. but why is there a directory not found? If I open Texture Direct I can set Soft Cloud sets with no issue. 3. Oh there thanks! Again on a 4k TV this is so incredibly tiny I never even saw it. Please do consider adding a larger scale increase size (you have 3 settings) or even better respecting windows desktop scaling settings like even the P3D ATC window and menus now do. Many thanks!
  4. Can I ask why you don't have a menu item for REX EF? It is incredibly frustrating if you accidentally close the mini UI to have to restart? Also a menu item would help me understand when the thing isn't loaded (a lot!) or give me the chance to 'restart' like GSX does. The mini UI also needs a zoom option (another one) on a 4k 58" TV sitting 10 feet away you cannot read any of the text, could you potentially respect Windows Desktop Scaling settings?
  5. Happy to report back the latest dll (June 11th) is working a lot better for me and I no longer get the strange jumps or loss of FPS. Good job!
  6. The only place the Scene Lighting slider works is at 1.0 (hard right). if I move it 1px left I lose all shadows and the scene becomes a flat mess and the framerate drops from 25fps to 6fps (RTX 2080TI) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Em-CF6pGMKE Other Feedback Enable Manual Lighting is disabled on startup regardless of previous setting, can it not restore previous settings? I've to restart REX if I restart P3D. GRRR 😡 Unable to save over previous PRESET. I have to delete the old one then SAVE PRESET. I mean really, would SAVE AS be that difficult? I know its the REX way to have this confusing 'no currently loaded preset' concept but please please please provide SAVE AS to avoid the current madness of DELETE, SAVE PRESET, DELETE SAVE PRESET. Did no one suggest this? 😂 Cloud shadow intensity slider pretty please, they never look right when the other sliders are moved. All in all the first step into a new world of realtime tweaking, great work and I look forward to the Update! Thanks
  7. I did install it a few years back on a previous version of Prepar3D maybe v2.
  8. My order number is 1366270/SimMarket When I try to install (rextdsc_sp7_20170818) and enter the reg I was emailed 66xx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-058F7 I get the message Invalid Serial Number I have P3Dv4, should this be working?
