    WARNING During the installation process, you may be required to locate the original installation folder to install the patch. It is extremely important that you install the patch over the originally installed files. Not doing so will cause the function of the software to become inoperable. Click the link below to download the installer file. Download to your desktop. Right-click on the rexinstaller.exe and select “Run as Administrator”. You may be alerted that the publisher is unknown. Click Run Away. Proceed through the installer wizard until complete. Delete the rexinstaller.exe file from your desktop when complete. DOWNLOAD FILE: Click link to download the patch

    PRODUCT: REX 5 – Environment Force VERSIONS: Technical Update 2.0 Technical Update 1.1 Technical Update 1.0 Release Build LEVEL: HIGH DATE: Wednesday, September 11, 2019 ISSUE: Not seeing the mini ui when starting the simulator or receiving a dll.xml error message. SOLUTION: If you are not experiencing the mini ui within your simulator, please perform the following procedure: Step 1 - Please make sure your simulator and Environment Force are closed. Step 2 - Please uninstall Environment Force Step 3 - Please make a backup of the dll.xml file located in the {drive name}:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4 folder. The delete the original. IMPORTANT: If you delete the original and you have other 3rd party add-ons that use the DLL.xml, they will no longer work. You will need to restore your original DLL.xml file. Step 4 - Restart your sim and let it rebuild the dll.xml file. Step 5 - After the sim is started close it out. Step 6 - Re-install Environment Force, start it and register it. Step 7 - Start your simulator.
