Great to see this!! I wish I'd found these forums before.....

Not being able to get my hands on this cool stuff right now makes me want to throw myself out of the window. The only question is whether to open it or not first. I think it would look more effective if I left it closed...

Wonderful stuff Tim, just joined the forum as you know, but am blown away by the professionalism of the interface! Well done indeed. If it works as good as it looks, we'll be treated to something very special indeed. Looking forward to it heaps, like everyone else - thanks for letting us see how it's going.

Looks really great! Congratulations.

Can you explain what these options do:-

* Enable realistic visibility smoothing
* Enable realistic cloud turbulence
* Enable realistic icing effects
* Enable realistic storm wind shear and updrafts
* Enable realistic enhanced 3d cloud structures

Tim,  Just wondering if you have been able to somewhat improve the old FS problem when encountering weather layers with differing wind directions causing the aircraft to slew about wildly, something with a better transitioning between the layers.

Hi

I been following REX since it was first announced and reading the forum posts. Just wanting to say this looks superb! The interface is very good and i am glad (after looking at the interface shots) that REX appears to handle visibility smoothing which in my opinion is one of the biggest flaws in FSX.
