Hey,

i´m pretty sure Tim is using an "[glow=red,2,300]HDR-plugin[/glow]" which is called [glow=red,2,300]ENB[/glow]series..
Its an .dll and and .ini file, which allows u to configurate 3D games..
Things like motion blur or reflection, bloom,("hdr")... and so on.
Also there is an colour correction which gives every 3d program (here fs9)
a much nicer contrast...
I couldn´t imagin flying without ENBseries..
[glow=red,2,300]BTW:[/glow] There is (at least for me) NO FPS lost.. which makes it really interesting..  Have a try

That looks amazing! I am so looking foward to this for FS9. I have FSX and use Extreme also but when I fly for my VA, I use FS9 and this would make it so much better. Can't wait for its release!

Hey Maniac,

this screenshot was taken from an ENBseries forum at avsim i think...
But as a terrain addon im using
[glow=red,2,300]REP (Real Enviroment Pro)[/glow] which is a freeware and must have.

And for the Sky im using different [glow=red,2,300]HDE[/glow] textures for clouds,sky colour... etc

Also nice water textures like [glow=red,2,300]Xtrawater,fs9wat,silver wing[/glow].. etc but REP is awesome too.

There is much more im using.. like 3D Lights for Aircrafts (omg awesome), which i boughed.

But the best thing u should do, is searchn the hole web and mix [glow=red,2,300]ur own[/glow] best texteres.

I have to ask are the clouds going to disapper or just appear while you are climbing and/or desending?  Like the stock verson wheather that comes with FS9 clouds just appear out of no where when you decrease altitude.  Kinda a turn off

Hey Tim,

What settings are you using for your HDR plugin? The settings I have make my sim look WAY to bright as though I just woke up in the morning.

Do you mind posting your file so I could test it out and see if it improves what I have?

I have changed this darn file so many times in search of different looks, that it's far from what I had previously.

The problem I am having is getting rid of the the brightness that I am getting. Clouds almost have no detail to them and the horizon is blinding.
