I google "REX essential release date" and I saw a sentence that said this: "Release Date, Sep 20" BUT did not see headline of the link, which reads : "
T REX - Essential Collection CD Album" and also the year 2005.

I am looking forward to the new weather engine.
I have had a few CTD's with the existing one which don't occur when I am not using REX.
I only fly online with FSX & Vatsim using FSInn( with Cavok on Green) so maybe I have missed something

Cheers
Howard

It looks great, but my question is will it be able to hold those overcast depictions or will it break a part like every single weather engine I have used, ie all the hifi weather engines, freeware ones, default msfs...

MrSpeaker, the new weather engine takes advantage of ALL, let me repeat, ALL weather stations inside of FSX. There are close to 9,000 stations populated throughout the FSX world. We are providing weather to EACH station now giving it a more rich and spacious environment through our interpolation process. This process washes the weather data a minimum of 3 times to make sure the most realistic data is provided for EACH station. We do this because NOAA and VATSIM only provide about half the data that FSX is setup to receive. For example, areas such as Australia, Africa, Brazil, New Zealand and many other locations are NOW densely populated with real weather at the surface and aloft with our new system. This process alone took over 5 months to accomplish.

"Now that is great news" NZ in other weather programmes only have 3 stations. NZAA NZWN NZCH the rest are rubbish.
Roll on release !!!

Excellent work with regards to the better input for Australia etc ... I'm sure this would have been pain staking to make it all work, but bloody fantastic guys! :) It's annoying with Australia with the FSX system for inputting weather data at the moment, half of it is not even correct, or it's way variable! Great stuff guys, looking forward to the release :)
