Ray and Jay were walking in the woods and came across a hole, they looked into it and it was so deep they couldn't see the bottom.

Ray threw a rock and they watched it disappear but never heard it hit the bottom, so Jay threw in a huge rock and again they watched it disappear but never heard it hit the bottom of the hole.

Ray said "Look over there by the bushes Jay, there's a rail road Tie, lets chunk it in the hole".

So they struggled with the tie and finally managed to watch it until it disappeared into the darkness of the hole, all of a sudden a goat came running between them and jumped into the hole.

They watched in amazement as the goat disappeared into the dark, and they listened as the goats "BBBaaa bbaaa" disappeared but still they never heard anything hit the bottom.

They soon grew bored and as they turned around to leave they saw a feller looking around and calling "Ruby, Ruby".

Ray asked him if he was looking for something, and the feller replied "Yeah, I'm looking for my goat Ruby".

Ray said "A goat just ran past us and jumped in the hole", the feller replied "Naw, that couldn't have been my Ruby, she was chained to a rail road tie".

So, goats were harmed in the making of this joke, 'eh?
