Oh, and I finally remembered that it's ctrl+space to snap the view back to straight ahead, not just space. Geez, it's been a while, hasn't it!?!
So I actually made it from KSEA to CYVR this time. Then I decided to retrace my flight in X-Plane. I don't know... These shots are not entirely apples to apples, but you be the judge. It's such a tough call. There are things about each sim that absolutely ROCK. If you could take the best of both and make one sim out of them, it might be 10X as hard to walk away from the computer...
I'm not trying to judge, by the way. I think FSX is superior in many ways, but sometimes the world visuals in X-Plane are just too yummy to ignore.
